Ditch the Gaffa Tape!

So when I was developing the first range of nine children's collections, my thoughts turned to the exhausted mummy called Abigail from a few years ago, gaffa tape in hand, trying to "light-secure" nap time.

That moment of reflective empathy towards my former self, along with the determination to create collections that both parents and children would love, and that truly improved little ones’ spaces, helped lead to the partnership with 24/7.

Building a New Way to Play House: The House of Abigail Story

As a perpetual doodler and sketcher (in a distracted, inattentive way - not a romantic, pained-artist way), I had filled these notebooks, totally unaware that I’d spent nearly twenty years designing a collection of patterns and motifs that were my own interpretations of all the prints and patterns I had absorbed over the years. Using these as my foundation, I began to design a range of cloths and papers that would enable all of us to find a new way to play house.
