Ordering

What size should I buy?

Our online wallpaper calculator is a great starting point to help you work out how many rolls you’ll need based on your wall size and chosen design. For smaller spaces, like a feature wall or cosy nook, our 5m rolls offer a flexible option and help reduce leftover material at the end of your project. If you're ever unsure, we recommend checking with your decorator — they’ll be able to advise based on the specifics of your space.

When ordering cloth by the metre, simply select 1 metre and increase the quantity in your basket to match the total length you need. Your fabric will be delivered as a continuous, uncut piece.

Can I cancel my order?

Because each item is printed to order just for you, we're unable to accept cancellations once your order has been placed. This bespoke approach allows us to reduce waste, offer a wider range of designs and colourways, and ensure the highest quality with every print. We recommend double-checking your measurements and selections before completing your purchase — but if you have any concerns, we’re always here to help.

What is your returns policy?

Returns Policy

At The House of Abigail, every order is handled with the utmost care and attention to detail. As all of our cloth and wallpaper is printed to order, and our samples are created especially for you, we kindly ask that you read the following information before placing your order.

Samples

Our samples are made to help you make the right choice for your home. As such, they are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless they arrive damaged or faulty. Should that ever be the case, do get in touch within 7 days of delivery with a photograph and your order details — we’ll be more than happy to put things right.

Fabric and Wallpaper

All of our fabric and wallpaper is printed to order, which means each piece is created just for you. For this reason, we’re unable to accept returns or offer refunds unless the item is faulty.

If you believe your order has arrived with a fault, please let us know within 7 days of receiving it. Kindly send us your order number, a brief description of the issue, and a few photographs to help us assess the problem. If a fault is confirmed, we’ll of course arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

A Few Helpful Notes

– We always recommend ordering a sample before purchasing fabric or wallpaper, to be sure the scale, colour and texture are exactly as you’d like.

– Please do check all goods carefully before cutting, treating or installing them, as we’re unable to accept returns once the product has been altered.

– Do bear in mind that slight variations in colour may occur due to the bespoke nature of our printing process — we believe it adds to the charm.

How much do you charge for postage and packaging?

We aim to keep our shipping costs fair and transparent, reflecting the additional weight and logistics of larger orders.

  • Orders up to £40 – £3.50
  • Orders between £40 and £85 – £4.50
  • Orders over £85 – £7.50
How long does fulfilment and dispatch take?

We aim to dispatch all sample orders within 5 working days, sent via Royal Mail within the UK. Our cloth and wallpaper are printed to order, so please allow up to10 working days for dispatch. All orders are packed with the utmost care and attention. Please note:

  • Cloth orders are shipped folded. If you'd prefer your order dispatched on the roll, please contact us for a personalised postage and packaging quote.
  • Wallpaper will be packaged efficiently to reduce waste and shipping costs. Where possible, multiple drops will be rolled together into a single box.
Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Please note that all our products are printed to order, and as such we do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges unless the item is faulty or not as described, in accordance with your statutory rights. If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll be happy to help.
