Description

The Pensford Collection captures the easy charm of high summer- where gardens spill over, meadows hum with colour, and everything feels just a little more alive. What began as a series of hand-drawn studies of seasonal blooms has grown into a versatile collection of prints, ranging from finely detailed ditsy florals to structured checks and bold, oversized botanicals. Each design balances playfulness with precision, offering a fresh take on classic motifs. With an emphasis on scale and mix-and-match flexibility, Pensford is made to layer - perfect for upholstery, soft furnishings, or adding character to a room with pattern and personality. Rooted in the rhythm of the natural world and guided by Abigail’s hand, the collection brings a relaxed, thoughtful energy to any interior. Softly structured. Naturally expressive. A study in summer.

About the print

Penn Check is a warm, woven-inspired plaid that brings traditional structure and comfort to the Pensford Collection. In gentle mid tones of Raffs Blue, cream, and Wiginton, this check echoes the familiar rhythm of heritage textiles, reimagined here with a crisp, graphic precision. The pattern’s gentle contrast and balanced repeat make it ideal for grounding florals or standing alone as a timeless statement.

Rooted in tradition but refined for modern interiors, Penn Check offers both utility and charm - a versatile staple from The House of Abigail.
